We are gearing up for the release of our first issue and cannot wait to share our top picks for local pools, BBQ's and antique shops in the area. Lavender Farm!

Did you know that there is a lavender farm in Meridian? It is on the corner of Cherry Lane and McDermott Rd. The fields are gorgeous. They have an walking path with A-Z varieties of lavender. They are open Saturdays from June 22-July 27 from 9-2 and by appointment for special occasions, meetings, family reunions. Call them @888-5080 or just drop by on a Saturday morning, Lavender Acres 2000 N McDermott Rd. 

Mama's Favorite because it is educational and calming. The lavender gives off a sweet aroma and subtle buzz of the bees pollinating radiates calm. The bees are so happy around the lavender that people are insignificant. For local flair, I rate it a 5. For atmosphere and layout, I give it a 4, little ones need to be watched closely. And customer service is definitely a 5. You can take tours and their owners can teach you a lot about lavender and bees.

Roastere is amazing

Today we sat down to have a coffee and a chat with a potential MAA and when I went to get a drink of iced tea, I was short 15 cents. Rather than be dismissive and rude, the lady behind the counter simply changed my total to accommodate whatever change I had in my purse.. Not only was that amazing, but the atmosphere and iced tea was great too!

We are so excited that we couldn't hold it in.. today we just added another MAA ("Mama Approved" Ambassador). She is already helping us streamline our communication and has such amazing ideas on how we can reach a larger audience! Yay! Welcome aboard!!
