Did you know that there is a lavender farm in Meridian? It is on the corner of Cherry Lane and McDermott Rd. The fields are gorgeous. They have an walking path with A-Z varieties of lavender. They are open Saturdays from June 22-July 27 from 9-2 and by appointment for special occasions, meetings, family reunions. Mama's Favorite because it is educational and calming. The lavender gives off a sweet aroma and subtle buzz of the bees pollinating radiates calm. The bees are so happy around the lavender that people are insignificant. For local flair, I rate it a 5. For atmosphere and layout, I give it a 4, little ones need to be watched closely. And customer service is definitely a 5. You can take tours and their owners can teach you a lot about lavender and bees.
