Eagle Island - As a state park, there is so much to see and do. Besides being by the Boise River, during the summer months it has a water slide that is way fun. Along with a swimming beach, playground and beautiful picnic areas for the whole family!
Boise River - really? anywhere on the Boise River is going to lend itself to some outdoor fun. Just go down there and walk along it, fish along it, inner tube, whichever. Just be safe and then have fun!
Rose Garden- Probably best to visit in the summer months as the roses are in bloom. Once you are there, you may want to pop over to Julie Davis park for a picnic or mowsie over across the street to Albertson's park for some more sightseeing.
